Cancellation Policy

Your Cancellation Rights

The deadline for canceling your appointment is 24 hours before the actual appointment.

We thank you for choosing Physical Therapy Solutions for your health care needs. We are committed to serving you the best quality treatment and we take pride in our distinct treatment philosophy. We schedule one on one appointments because you deserve them, and we value your time and ours. As a result of resources being utilized better, we request you give us 24 hours' cancellation notice.

 

Emergencies, illnesses, and family illnesses happen to all of us. We understand. In such instances, we will not charge for cancellation outside of the 24-hour notice period. Be advised that in the second instance of cancellation outside of 24 hours notice policy, you will be charged $35 for cancellation. The cancellation fee is not billable to your insurance. You are legally responsible for the cancellation fee. 

In order to cancel your appointment for any reason, You must inform us by:

If you have already paid a due payment for the visit in advance, we will reimburse you no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive the cancellation request. We will use the same means of payment You used to pay, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

When patients call to cancel their appointment, in order to minimize the impact on the therapist's schedule, we may call other patients. We greatly appreciate the patients' flexibility. If you have scheduling conflicts or need to reschedule, please call us soon as you can. If we could accommodate you to a different slot as it becomes available, we may not charge you a cancellation fee even if it is outside of the 24-hour notice policy. 

 

For Medicaid and personal injury carriers, you cannot be assessed the cancellation fee. In good faith, we will wait for two consecutive cancellations before we discharge your case.

Any appointments missed without any notice, unless for the exception stated above, you will be charged a self-pay charge for the visit. For Medicaid and personal injury carriers, you cannot be assessed the cancellation fee. Please be advised, we may elect to discharge your treatment without any prior notice.

We reserve the right to refuse any cancellations that do not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.
