Vestibular Rehabiliation

Our Therapists are skilled and trained to address your vestibular dysfunctions. For episodes of vertigo (Everything around you is spinning) and nausea, our therapist can perform maneuvers that can comfortably and quickly have a positive impact on your symptoms.

Vestibular dysfunction has multiple causes and can have a significant impact on your functioning, affect your balance, and disrupts life. Vestibular dysfunction symptoms are many and few to list

  • Vertigo - the sensation of everything around is spinning with or without double vision

  • Dizziness - the sensation of lightheadedness or floating

  • Nausea

  • Hearing problems - ringing or muffling sounds, sensitivity to sounds

  • The sensation of fullness in ear

  • Visual problems - double vision, blurred vision, sensitivity to light

  • Balance - stumbling, losing balance with quick turns and falls

  • Motion Sickness

There are many causes, the common diagnoses we work with are

  • BPPV - Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

  • Vertigo - Central and Peripheral

  • Vestibular Neuritis

  • Brain stem and cerebellum lesions

  • Vestibular Hypofucntion
